Dr. Rainer Burghardt

Rainer Burghardt provides support to mid-size companies in all core areas of their operational business. He also handles all legal issues for families of entrepreneurs. A main area of his practice involves projects which require detailed knowledge of accounting, taxes and employment law and coordinating corresponding teams of experts. Ongoing mandates involve primarily the areas of production of machinery and engine technology, the grocery retail trade and food service systems as well as the security industry.

Rainer Burghardt has accordingly been able to establish on short notice structures which are directed towards optimizing business efficiency, for example, by using the European Stock Corporation (Societas Europaea, "SE") as the head of the corporate group, all types of measures to transform the corporate form, cross-border cash pools, M&A projects in the national and cross-border fields as well as structural issues involving Industry 4.0.

Rainer Burghardt supports business families with regard to dividend policy, investments, selecting management personnel and structuring succession, always oriented towards keeping the family together.

Rainer Burghardt's practice is complemented by special projects such as tax optimized real estate transactions, special issues in external tax audits and the law on tax crimes, matters involving foreign trade and security (cyber-crime).
